WELCOME!
Shana Adise received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a focus in cognitive neuroscience from the City College of New York (CCNY) of the City University of New York (CUNY). After living her whole life in New York City, Shana traded in her metro card and moved to State College, PA to pursue a Ph.D. at Penn State in laboratory of Dr. Kathleen L. Keller, Department of Nutritional Sciences. After graduating, Shana decided she really liked the cold and took a post doc at the University of Vermont with Dr. Hugh Garavan. Her research interests are focused on understanding the differences in neural mechanisms of decision-making for food choice in the pediatric population. During her spare time, Shana can be found gardening or out taking pictures with her SLR. Shana also enjoys water gun fights, going to silent discos, and exploring the world.
